Improving Mindset...

It is absolutely normal to want to improve.

We have it in every aspect of life...career, house, and even ourselves mentally and physically.

Whenever we learn something we are improving ourselves mentally, whenever we get something wrong and thing, hmmm I won't do that again, we are improving ourselves.

What about the physical side of it though.

I think this is where is gets a bit tricky. It's great to want to improve, it is what keeps us going and determined and motivated but I do believe there can be a line that can be crossed.

Basically when it turns into beating ourselves up or feeling bad about ourselves, that is when it has gone too far.

Why can't we love and enjoy being us, even if we do what to change??

We can!!!!

Wanting to improve yourself, whether that means losing weight, toning up or making yourself healthier does NOT mean you have to hate yourself first.

Life is too short to be spent making ourselves feel bad.

Sometimes we need to take some pressure off, appreciate where we started from or appreciate just starting and be proud of ourselves

I have these beautiful cards (shown in the picture) in the studio by Ahead Of The Curve.

Just little affirmations to remind us to appreciate and love our bodies, no matter where you are on your journey.

Perfection is in the eye of the beholder, so change how you look at yourself
