HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
(Slightly early I know but this might not make as much sense later once the prosecco is open 😂)
After a lovely food filled Christmas and New Year its natural to feel like you need a reset (and maybe a green juice on drip!!) But that doesn't mean you have to do a full scale overhaul, cut out everything you can and get to the gym and 5am every day!
Make healthy adjustments that fit with your life, realistic targets and stay consistent 👌
I have never really been one for New Year resolutions I have to admit. For me if I feel I need a bit of a reset or a kick up the arse then it can be any day of the week, any month of the year but what I do love about moving from one year into the next is to reflect on the last 12 months and to realign my focuses for what I want to achieve in the 12 months ahead.
What do I want to be looking back on when I’m sat here thinking the same thing at the end of 2024?
Happiness and health are always at the top of that list.
That does NOT mean what number is on the scales or in the back of my jeans (well leggings…I literally never wear jeans 😂) it means looking after my body and loving it, even the bits I might want to change. It means keeping myself mentally healthy. It means trying to give happiness and health to those around me as much as I can.
Really this is an ever changing and evolving thing and I try and apply it to every aspect of my life.
Any day can be a day for a resolution but a new year is a symbol of the future, of all the possibilities, of all the adventures that might just be around the corner!
The happiest and healthiest New Year to all of you ❤️
Lets see what 2024 has to bring us! See you all there!!
