This week has been about food for me!
So I wanted to share some nice and easy tips to help you guys 😊
I am absolutely not going to do anything that takes me too much time...I just don't have any spare
So for me it just has to be easy, else it won't happen 🤷🏼♀️
Batching cooking is a really good way to make sure I have things ready to eat through the week and it also means that I can eat things I want without having to force it down everyone else and also without cooking 4/5 different meals every night 😅
I only eat food that I love! If I don't like it, I won't eat it its as simple as that. I love food and I always feel so accomplished when I'm rushing around and I still manage to eat things I enjoy too! I know it sounds daft but it's the little wins in my life 😄
I almost hate to say it guys but organisation is key! What is that saying?? Failing to prepare is preparing to fail or something like that?? Well it's true anyway!
Whether that means planning what you are cooking for the week or batch cooking - or whatever works for you!
And this is coming from the least organised person I know 🤣 (I am getting better...slowly 😅)
And finally I always try to make sure I am covering all the essential food groups - carbs, protein and good fats - with lots of veg and salad (cos I love it and it's super good for you 💚). Foods that's are nutritionally dense with as little processing as possible.
I don't calorie count or weight out my food but if I feel like I need a re-set then I keep a food diary for a few days so I can see what I am doing and look at what I can do to improve. This usually happens when im not organised enough!
Anyway I hope this has been a little bit helpful for you all!
Keep it simple and stay away from the processed stuff as much as you can 🥰💚🙏
